The upcoming variant will likely either be launched by the end of the month or early July
Our sources have revealed that a new variant of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, meant to be a more youthful take on the cruiser, is inbound. The upcoming variant could be launched either by the end of this month or early next month.
We believe Royal Enfield will bring out a variant with an 18-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel, which should ensure the cruiser is slightly more flickable than before. It is also likely to get a single-piece contoured seat, along with a flatter handlebar for a slightly more aggressive stance. The powertrain and the underpinnings will likely be blacked out, and the motorcycle could come with new colour schemes as well. All in all, the upcoming variant will be similar to the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X. With the upcoming variant, Royal Enfield will be able to cater to youngsters who like sporty, urban-centric cruisers.

Expect the new variant of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 to be priced at around Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 more than the base (Fireball) variant, which starts from Rs 2,01,253 (ex-showroom Delhi). The powertrain and other mechanicals of the upcoming variant will remain the same as the standard model, and its primary rivals will be the Yezdi Roadster and the Jawa Perak.
