Upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Launch Timeline Revealed

It's no secret that Royal Enfield has been working on a new roadster, likely to be called the Hunter 350, which has also been spotted on test runs quite a few times. But now they’re gearing up to officially launch its latest bike in India, and our dealer sources reveal the launch timeline of the 350cc bike to be by the end of June 2022. 

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered by the same 349cc engine developing 20.4 PS and 27 Nm found on the new generation Classic 350 and the Meteor 350. Based on the spy shots, it is evident that the roadster will be packed with features like its siblings. 

We can spot a twin-pod instrument cluster with Tripper navigation assist and dual channel ABS. The instrument cluster and switchgear will likely come directly from the Meteor 350 and the Hunter will have halogen lights. However, the navigation assist might be offered as an optional extra, based on recent announcements made by the brand in the wake of the prolonged semiconductor shortage as we reported here. 

Also, as per the latest spy shots, the Hunter 350 sports a round headlight, teardrop fuel tank, alloy wheels, and blacked mechanicals, which are all quite likable and resembles the Triumph Street Twin, further complimented by using round lights all around and fork gaiters up front. It also features a long, slightly scooped single-piece seat, low rear-biased footpegs, and a slightly aggressive flat handlebar, which seem to offer good ergonomics.

We expect the Hunter 350 to be priced around Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it’ll go against the Yezdi Roadster, Jawa Forty Two, Honda CB350RS, and possibly the upcoming Triumph-Bajaj bike.
