EXCLUSIVE: 2020 Toyota Yaris BS6 Prices Revealed Ahead Of January Launch

Toyota India is set to launch the BS6-compliant Yaris sedan in the first two weeks of January 2020. Select dealers have started accepting bookings for a token amount ranging between Rs 51,000 and a lakh. The Yaris BS6 is available in seven trim levels and prices have been revealed ahead of its launch. Here’s a detailed look:

It must be mentioned that all variants of the Yaris have received a standard price hike of Rs 11,000.
The Yaris BS6 continues to be offered with the familiar 1.5-litre Dual VVTi engine that develops an identical 108PS of power and 140 Nm. It is offered with the option of either a 6-speed manual or CVT. Fuel-efficiency figures of the BS6-compliant Yaris are yet to be revealed. Currently, the BS4-compliant manual variant returns 17.1kmpl while the automatic variant has a claimed efficiency of 17.8kmpl.
The Toyota Yaris could be the second sedan in its segment to meet BS6 emission norms after the Honda City petrol. When launched, it will lock horns with the BS6 Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, and the upcoming BS6 Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid TSI.
