Toyota Rumion Latest Updates
Due to overwhelming demand, Toyota has temporarily stopped accepting reservations for the Rumion CNG. But reservations for the petrol-powered Rumion are unaffected by this change. The MPV is available in three different trim levels, including automatic and CNG options. Only the base-spec model is offered with the CNG kit, which costs an additional Rs 95,000 above the petrol variant. The automatic transmission is up to Rs 1.6 lakh more expensive than the manual version.
Toyota Rumion Key Highlights
Features: Toyota offers the Rumion with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering-mounted audio controls, automatic climate control, cruise control and rear AC vents. Safety is covered with up to 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, and a parking camera with rear parking sensors.
Engine: The Toyota Rumion is powered by a 103PS/137Nm 1.5-litre petrol engine. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The Japanese carmaker has also offered a CNG powertrain with the same engine which generates a reduced output of 88PS/121.5PS and is paired only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Rivals: The Toyota Rumion competes against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Mahindra Marazzo, Kia Carens and Renault Triber.
Variants: The Rumion is offered in three broad trims: S, G and V. The base-spec S trim also gets the option of a CNG powertrain. It can be had in five exterior paint hues: Spunky Blue, Rustic Brown, Iconic Grey, Cafe White, and Entycing Silver.
