We’re only halfway through 2021, and Maruti Suzuki models are set to get dearer for the third time. The carmaker has cited rising input costs as the reason behind it. While a specific deadline hasn’t been revealed, the carmaker has said it will happen in the third quarter of 2021. Basically somewhere in the period of July-September 2021. Here’s the current prices of the entire Maruti Suzuki lineup:

This will be the third time this year that the carmaker will be hiking prices after the previous hikes in April 2021 and January 2021. The effect of the price hike will depend on the model. Previously, the Arena range of models saw an increment of up to Rs 22,500, whereas the Nexa models carried a hike of up to Rs 20,000.
Aside from this, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce the next-gen Alto and Celerio later this year, with the latter’s design being leaked via patent images. We’re also expected to see the much-awaited Jimny off-roader by 2022.
