Two new models of the legendary Scout have been introduced

The Indian Scout turns 100 next year. The name first made an appearance in 1920 as Indian rolled out the first Scout back then. The current-gen Scout was introduced to the world in 2005 and has been one of our favourites in the cruiser segment. To commemorate the iconic name’s 100 years of existence, Indian has unveiled two new models of the Scout – the Scout 100th Anniversary and the Scout Bobber Twenty.

Adorning the same red colour seen first on the 1920’s Scout, the Scout 100th Anniversary is a limited run series model. The red colour is matched with golden pinstripes and badging. There is a tan leather saddle, easy to reach ‘beach bars’ with a braced member, spoke rims and a luggage rack. Only 750 units of this bike will be made.

Thankfully, the Scout Bobber Twenty revealed alongside the 100th Anniversary is not a limited edition model. More so, it goes deeper into the bobber genre with ape hangers, a brown leather floating seat, spoke rims and blacked-out exhaust tips. Again, the Twenty in the bike’s name is to pay respect to the 1920 (read as nineteen-twenty) Scout.

Will these models arrive on our shores? There is a high possibility of the latter going on sale while a handful of units of the Scout 100th Anniversary could be allocated for India. We expect the Scout 100th Anniversary to bear a price tag of Rs 17 lakh while the Bobber Twenty will go on sale for Rs 14 lakh, ex-showroom India.
