Your Clearest Look At The Upcoming Hero Karizma XMR

The Karizma is coming back in a liquid-cooled avatar!

[UPDATE: Hero has launched the Karizma XMR in India. It looks muscular, attractive and packs a punch! Check it out here]

The Karizma XMR 210 is one of Hero’s most exciting upcoming bikes and for good reason. Its predecessor, the OG Karizma was an iconic bike back in the day and now that the moniker is coming back, it’s gotten everyone excited. And while previous spy shots gave us an idea, new pictures have completely revealed what the bike looks like. Its liquid-cooled engine, which is likely to be a 210cc one, has been given a bronze finish. Power figures are expected to be around 25PS and 20Nm.

Despite being a modern avatar of the sporty Hero, this one still features a telescopic fork up front instead of a USD unit. The rear uses a monoshock, though. While the petal discs at both ends look similar to the one in the XPulse 200 4V, the rotor mounting brackets are different.

It gets LED lighting all around with headlight-integrated indicators. The clip on handlebar, like we expected, are raised units, making it lean towards the sport touring side of things rather than being an out and out supersport, similar to the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. Expect the instrument cluster to be a fully digital one with turn-by-turn navigation like on the XPulse 200 4V.

Final bits that can be seen on the bike are MRF tyres and a split-seat setup. The bike looks every bit production ready and it should be here sometime around September this year. We expect the bike to be priced around the Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom), meaning it’ll go up against the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
