No The cars are set to get costlier with the upcoming BS-VI emission. So the diesel will be expensive. Still maruti will give 1.5 Liter diesel engine in high segments.

2.3Service cost
The car is fun to drive car.The service cost is average, But the dealers are very poor in providing the genuine parts.Parts will have to be brought from warehouse which takes 10days atleast.Dealers not keeping basic parts makes it diffcult to replace parts.
