Royal Enfield’s sales figures for May are in and the effect of the pandemic is clearly visible, with the numbers being quite low compared to April. Let’s take a look at how all the models fared:

As expected, the Classic 350 continues to top the sales chart for the Royal Enfield family. It’s followed by the Bullet 350s and the Meteor 350. Considering dealerships and even factories were shut during this period, the 350cc siblings contributed a decent portion to the bikemaker’s overall sales.

It’s the ADV and the 650 twins that have been hit badly. The three models didn’t manage to breach the 1,000 unit mark, even when clubbed together. But now that the lockdowns restrictions are being eased, Royal Enfield is likely to see improved sales.
Moreover, the brand has quite a few models in the pipeline for the coming months. Head here for details on upcoming REs.
