New LC300 Is The Latest Addition To The Stacked Middle-Eastern Police Force Fleets

The LC300 is quite apt for the terrain thanks to its 4x4 drivetrain and off-road prowess

The 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 has been added to the green and white garage of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi police force as well as the Dubai Civil Defence.

Thanks to some improvements, the new model is more fuel-efficient than its predecessor. While the dimensions of the SUV remain unchanged, the next-gen model is based on the new GA-F body-on-frame platform. By redesigning the frame and improving its rigidity, Toyota has made it 200kg lighter. The interior of the SUV has also been redesigned for a more premium feel. Further enhancing its off-road prowess, the LC300 also gets a 3D multi-terrain detector and electronic kinetic dynamic suspension system (EKDSS).

Toyota has also replaced the bulky V8s with diesel and twin-turbo petrol V6 engines. Toyota offers the engines with a 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. The icing on the cake is the 4x4 drivetrain which has made it immensely popular in the region.

For those of you unfamiliar with the hype around these forces, think supercars along the lines of Ferraris, Mercs, Bugatti, and Porsches (lots of them). The aforementioned Middle Eastern forces put all to shame with their swanky rides, almost giving the appearance of a utopian society.

Some of the models currently part of the green and white fleet are Mercedes-Benz SLS-AMG, Bugatti Veyron, Bentley Continental GT, Maserati GranTurismo, and the McLaren MP4-12C.
