Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 450 has been launched in India at Rs 1.28 crore (ex-showroom). This 5-seater variant joins the EQS SUV 580 in the lineup, to offer an option to the luxurious electric SUV option. Bookings are now open, and deliveries for this all-electric SUV are set to begin in February. Produced locally in Pune, India, the EQS SUV 450 boasts a host of premium features and a striking exterior design that underscores its luxury appeal.

Features: The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 450 offers features like a 17.7-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch front passenger screen, four-zone climate control, dual 11.6-inch rear entertainment screens, puddle lamps and a 15-speaker Burmester sound system. Safety features include 9 airbags and Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.

Motor: The EQS SUV 450 is powered by a 122 kWh battery pack, the largest in any passenger EV in India, delivering an ARAI-claimed range of 821 km. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup generates 360 PS of power and 800 Nm of torque. It is capable of doing 0 to 100 kmph in 6.1 seconds. The SUV supports 200 kW DC fast charging, charging the battery from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 31 minutes.

Rivals: The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 450 competes with the BMW iX, Audi Q8 e-tron, and Jaguar I-Pace in the electric luxury SUV segment.

Range: EQS SUV can go upto 809 km/charge after a full charge.
