Mercedes-Benz India is all set to launch the 2020 GLE premium SUV on January 28. This is in line with our earlier report where we had said that the GLE would be launched just ahead of Auto Expo 2020. Bookings for the 2020 GLE are open for a token of Rs 5 lakh and it is expected to be priced around Rs 90 lakh (on-road).

The 2020 GLE is rounder and sleeker than its predecessor. The front-end comes with traditional design elements like the twin-slat grille and Mercedes’ twin eyebrow DRLS. In profile, the premium SUV takes plenty of design influence from the 2020 GLS SUV. Moving on to the rear, the new GLE comes with sleek LED tail lamps.

The dashboard gets a twin-screen set-up, which looks like a single slab of glass when the displays are turned off. We also expect the infotainment unit to feature the brilliant MBUX infotainment system.
