Mercedes-Benz GLC

The Mercedes Benz GLC gets new feature additions as part of the 2024 updates. The changes now encapsulate ventilated and heated front seats and added airbags for the rear seat occupants, now totalling to 9-airbags. The GLC is available in two variants; GLC 220d 4Matic is priced at Rs 76.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and the GLC 300 4Matic at Rs 75.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Features: The 203 Mercedes GLC features an 11.9-inch infotainment system along with a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display which operates on the second-gen MBUX UI. Mercedes has also equipped it with a slew of ADAS systems including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, trailer maneuvering system, and park assistance. It also gets seven airbags for passenger portection.

Engine: The GLC now gets a 48V mild-hybrid system with both its petrol and diesel units. While the latter is a 197PS/440Nm 2-litre diesel unit, the 2.0-litre petrol makes 258PS/400Nm. Both are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The luxury SUV also gets plug-in hybrid options, which includes two petrol mills producing up to 381PS, and one 331PS diesel engine, in markets abroad.

Rivals: The Mercedes GLC competes with the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60.
