Mercedes-Benz India has earlier said that it will be launching two new models ahead of Diwali, on November 2. And now, the German luxury marque has confirmed what those two cars are, which is the facelifted GLE SUV and the C43 AMG performance sedan. So without further ado, let’s take a brief look at what these two cars pack for you.

Mercedes revealed the facelifted GLE in international markets earlier this year. It gets subtle cosmetic updates inside and out, an updated infotainment system and, most importantly, cleaner powertrains. That said, expect the India-spec model to continue with its existing 2-litre and 3-litre diesel engines. You can find out more about the GLE by tapping this link.

Want something that’s sporty, low-slung and high-performance? Well, Mercedes-AMG is all set to introduce the new C43 AMG alongside the GLE. Yes, sad news is that it trades its 3-litre six-cylinder unit for a 2-litre four-pot. On the flip side, the smaller engine is a wee bit more powerful, and is as quick as the larger engine. For more dope on the new C43, check out this report.
We suspect the facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLE to start from around Rs 93 lakh (ex-showroom), while the C43 AMG could be priced from around Rs 85 lakh onwards. Which of these two Mercs will you put your money on? Let us know in the comments.
