Upcoming Suzuki Motorcycles In India In 2023
The Japanese marque has Triumph in its crosshairs
Suzuki has strayed away from bringing their big bikes to India for some time, but that seems to be changing with the debut of the Katana this year. Next year, the Japanese marque could continue its onslaught with its newest products.
Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE
Expected Price: Rs 11 lakh
Expected Launch: September 2023
The Japanese manufacturer unveiled its newest middleweight ADV at EICMA 2022. This ADV will be taking on the likes of the Triumph Tiger 900 family in our country. Unlike the V-Strom 650XT, this is an out-and-out modern ADV flaunting some serious kit and electronic aids.
Suzuki GSX-8S
Expected Price: Rs 9 lakh
Expected Launch: September 2023
Built on the same platform as the V-Strom 800 DE, the GSX-8S is the successor to the GSX-S 750. The lack of two cylinders means a power deficit, but it compensates for it with its lightweight architecture, modern electronics and design. But with the more powerful triumph Street Triple R in the market, does this Japanese naked stand a chance? We can’t wait to find out!
Suzuki Access 125 EX
Expected Price: Rs 1.10 lakh
Expected Launch: April 2023
Suzuki surprised us with the launch of the Burgman Street EX, and given the advantages it has over the standard variant, we don’t see why the Access won’t get the same updates. But just like its maxi-style sibling, the Access too might come with a substantial price hike. Would you be willing to shell out Rs 1.10 lakh for this scooter? Let us know in the comments.
While Suzuki is bringing its newest big bikes to our shores, the company might introduce them in small batches to gauge market response. This means these bikes are likely to come as direct imports and not CKD (Completely Knocked Down) units like the Hayabusa.
