Suzuki Avenis
The Avenis is Suzuki’s first sporty 125cc scooter, meant to take on the TVS Ntorq 125’s dominance in the segment. It has lots of angular elements on its bodywork, and is loaded with a decent set of features too.

Expert's Opinion on Avenis
- The Suzuki Avenis 125 is the brand’s sporty 125cc scooter. The Avenis stands out with its aggressive design, funky graphics and powerful engine. But is it enough to take on its competitors in the sporty 125cc scooter segment? Here’s what we think
- The scooter’s handlebar cowl resembles the eyes of a praying mantis, adding to that aggressive look
- The funky graphics is quite good and gives the scooter a youthful look & feel
- The fit and finish, along with the quality of parts used makes it feel premium
- Appears to be a bit too similar to its competition in terms of design, and fails to carve a unique identity of its own
- The engine is very refined, and there are very little vibrations present
- The scooter offers good acceleration till 40kmph, after which it takes time to build up speed
- Offers a mileage of 52.04kmpl in the city and 56.21kmpl on the highway
- Doesn’t offer exciting mid-range or top-end performance, which is a bit disappointing considering the sporty nature of the scooter
- The scooter is extremely nimble and this makes cutting through traffic quite easy
- The low kerb weight of 106kg really makes a difference when moving the scooter around
- The skinner tyres do not inspire much confidence when cornering
- The brakes are not the best, and do not offer much feel
- The suspension setup is well-tuned and manages to absorb most of the bumps and potholes with ease
- The open storage compartment at the apron is quite convenient
- The underseat storage can accommodate groceries and other items easily
- The handle bar is set towards the rider, and this makes the scooter feel a bit cramped for taller riders
- The console has a clean layout and is easy to read, similar to the one on the Access 125
- Offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, and offers features like turn-by-turn navigation
- The simple LCD console doesn’t feel premium when compared to what the competition is offering
- The Suzuki Avenis 125 is a decent sporty-looking scooter in the 125cc segment. But compared to the competition, it doesn’t have enough sporty performance . The Avenis feels more like the Access 125 in a sportier bodywork. If you are someone who is looking for a simple scooter, which has sporty looks, then the Avenis 125 is a good choice. But if you want real sporty performance then it's best to look at other alternatives in the segment.
Pros and Cons of Avenis
- Gets a powerful 125cc motor
- Is available in exciting colour options
- Decently comfortable ergonomics
- Design may not appeal to everyone
Suzuki's sporty 125cc scooter looks quite a lot like its rivals but it does leave a great impression on us. The styling fits the sporty persona, has zippy performance and still doesn't compromise on the practical stuff.

Avenis User Reviews

I AM ALREADY A AVENIS OWNER. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE FOR MY WIFE AND IT RUNS MORE THAN 45000 KMS AND 4 YEARS AND STILL LOOKS VERY STURDY AND DELIVERS EXCELLENT POWER AND BALANCE. THIS FORCE ME TO BUY THE SAME VEHICLE AS SECOND FOR ME.

But Suzuki is not maintaining a quality vehicle has run only 9000 kms i buy the scooter in2023 September scooter is more vibrating and bearing noise in engine and maintained in showroom please think before buying

So smothe to move.. Sporty look i like the top variant of this scotty... N much excited to ride it further1also.

4.5/5 Great initial pickup, it has got great handling..excellent mileage .. overall one of the best in1segment..
