It packs more power that earlier, better suspension and useful rider aids to put the ‘R’ back in racing
The 2023 Honda CBR250RR has been launched in Indonesia for Rp 62,850,000 (approximately Rs 3.35 lakh). The quarter litre supersport now gets a few critical updates that make it one of the most potent 250cc bikes currently on sale globally.
The first crucial change on this supersport for 2023 is a bump in power. Honda has tweaked the CBR’s 249cc twin-cylinder engine to run a higher compression ratio, resulting in an impressive 42PS output. That’s 2PS more than earlier while the torque remains the same at 25Nm.
It also features Showa Separate Function Big Piston inverted fork(USD) which should improve its ride and handling capabilities considerably. Final touches come in the form of three riding modes, and a slipper-assist clutch for crisper downshifts. Furthermore, the higher variants of the CBR250RR even offer a quickshifter which will make this a well-strapped track bike.
