Questions & Answers on SP160
- The Honda SP160 comes equipped with a single-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), which is applied only to the front wheel. This system helps prevent the front wheel from locking during sudden or hard braking, improving control and reducing the chances of skidding, especially on slippery roads. However, the rear wheel does not have ABS, meaning it can still lock under aggressive braking. While single-channel ABS provides a basic level of safety suitable for daily commuting, it is not as effective as dual-channel ABS, which operates on both wheels. Overall, the Honda SP160’s braking setup is reliable for city use but offers moderate safety compared to more advanced systems.
