A total of 13 new variants have been introduced in the hatchback. And depending on the variant you pick, it will command a premium of up to Rs 45,000 for the sunroof-equipped model.
The main additions in these new variants include a sunroof, wireless phone charger and an air purifier. Apart from that, the Altroz remains the same as before, which you can read about in our detailed first drive review.
The Altroz gets a total of four powertrain options: an 88PS 1.2-litre petrol, a 73.5PS 1.2-litre CNG, a 110PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 90PS 1.5-litre diesel. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard throughout the range while the naturally aspirated petrol engine gets an option of a 7-speed DCT.
With the addition of these new features, the Tata Altroz is now an even more well rounded hatchback in its segment. It continues to rival the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Toyota Glanza.
