If you had your heart set on a Jeep Compass and were about to book one, you will have to dig a bit deeper than you would’ve initially had to, thanks to the latest hike in the prices of the SUV. This time, the Compass has gotten dearer by up to Rs 1.8 lakh which rejigs its price list to range between Rs 20.89 and Rs 32.67 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Sport manual trim is the worst hit of the lot with the highest hike of Rs 1.8 lakh.

The top-spec Model S variants and the Trailhawk Edition get a uniform price bump of Rs 45,000.

The Sport variant with the petrol automatic powertrain gets the least increase in price with a Rs 20,000 hike.

Prices of the Sport diesel MT remain unchanged.
Jeep offers the Compass in multiple powertrain options: 163PS, 1.4-litre, turbo-petrol and 172PS, 2.0-litre, diesel engines. Both power units are paired to a six-speed manual as standard, while the diesel engine can also be had with a nine-speed automatic. On the other hand, the automatic variants of the turbo-petrol can be paired to a dual-clutch automatic (DCT) gearbox. An optional four-wheel drivetrain is exclusive to the diesel variants.
