The Hyundai Tucson has failed the Latin NCAP crash tests with a shocking zero-star safety rating.

The model tested was equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat mounts in the rear seats. It managed to score 51 percent in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), five percent in Child Occupant Protection (COP), 50 percent in Pedestrian Safety and seven percent in Safety Assist Systems.
