The FF Sport gets plenty of cosmetic upgrades, giving the people-mover a sporty makeover

  • Suzuki Ertiga FF Sport is an Indonesia-specific model.
  • Gets sportier-looking bumpers, dual-tone alloy wheels, and side skirts.
  • No changes to the features, powertrains, or mechanicals.

Suzuki has taken the wraps off the Ertiga FF Sport in Indonesia. Essentially, it’s the standard model’s sporty-looking version. Changes are primarily cosmetic, with the mechanicals, features, and powertrains left untouched.

The FF Sport features an exclusive honeycomb mesh grille and aggressively styled front bumpers (with L-shaped DRLs). The side skirts give the impression that the MPV is a low ride, and the dual-tone alloy wheels look premium. Rounding off the design is the red strip connecting the tail lamps and the rear bumper.

Inside, the FF Sport gets an all-black dashboard with wood inserts, and even the seats get black upholstery with red inserts. For context, the India-specific Ertiga gets a beige dashboard while its more premium cousin, the XL6, gets an all-black dashboard.

Features on offer include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button start, and steering-mounted audio controls. Passenger safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, hill hold assist, and a fire extinguisher.

The Indonesian model uses the same 105PS 1.5-litre petrol engine that drives the front wheels via a 5-speed manual and an optional 4-speed torque converter automatic.

All said and done, the Ertiga Sport is unlikely to make it to India, considering it is an Indonesia-specific model. In India, the MPV is priced from Rs 7.97 lakh, making it an alternative to the Renault Triber and Mahindra Marazzo
