Mahindra Promises Shorter Waiting Period For XUV 3XO As It Crosses 50,000 Bookings

Mahindra has already produced 10,000 units of the SUV and allocated a monthly manufacturing capacity of 9,000 units for the XUV 3XO

Recently, Mahindra opened the order books for the XUV 3XO, and it took just 60 minutes to hit a booking milestone of 50,000 orders. Of these, 27,000 bookings were made within the first ten minutes. Despite the strong demand, Mahindra aims to keep the waiting periods in check for the XUV 3XO.

And to achieve that, the carmaker has allocated a monthly manufacturing capacity of 9,000 units for the subcompact SUV, with 10,000 units already produced. Deliveries for the XUV 3XO are set to begin from May 26, 2024.

Expressing his thoughts on this landmark, Veejay Nakra, president, automotive division, Mahindra and Mahindra, attributed customers' trust in Mahindra. He emphasised the company's commitment to innovation and exceeding expectations.

Mahindra offers the XUV 3XO in nine broad trims with three engine options: a 110 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 130 PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, and a 117 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine. These powertrain choices are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic for turbo-petrol engine variants, and a 6-speed AMT for diesel engine variants. Prices for the Mahindra XUV 3XO start from Rs 7.49 lakh and go up to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The subcompact SUV rivals the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
