2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio Variants Detailed

Maruti Suzuki has just launched the second-gen Celerio at prices ranging from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 6.94 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). The compact hatch is offered in four broad trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. In this report, we’ll be explaining the features that will be offered in each trim to make life easier for you while purchasing the hatchback. 

LXI

Price: Rs 4.99 lakh (MT only)

This is the first step in the Celerio’s trim lineup. It comes only with the basics, including:

• Seat back pocket behind co-driver seat

• Manual air-conditioning

• Manually adjustable ORVMs

• Power steering 

• Multi-info display

VXI

Moving up a step is the VXI trims which gets all the features from the LXI and more, including:

• Vanity mirror in co-driver sunshade

• Day-night IRVM

• 60:40 split rear seats

• Central locking 

• Front and rear power windows with auto down function for driver’s side

ZXI 

Price: Rs 5.94 lakh (MT) / Rs 6.44 lakh (AMT)

The ZXI sits one step below the top-spec ZXI+. It comes with:

• Turn indicators on ORVMs

• Smartplay infotainment with USB, AUX IN, Bluetooth, and FM

• Four speakers

• Steering mounted audio controls

• Keyless entry with security system

• Tachometer

• Tilt adjustable steering wheel

• Rear wiper and washer

• Rear defogger

ZXI+ 

Price: Rs 6.44 lakh (MT) / Rs 6.94 lakh (AMT)

The ZXI+ is the top-spec trim with all the bells and whistles, including:

• Front fog lamps 

• 15-inch blacked-out alloy wheels

• Passive keyless entry with push button start

• 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

• Electrically foldable ORVMs

• Hill hold assist (AMT only)

Trivia 

• The Celerio is powered by Maruti’s new 1-litre K10C petrol engine developing 67PS and 89NM. 

• It can be had with either a 5-speed manual or an optional 5-speed AMT. 

• The hatch is offered with six paint options:  Speedy Blue, Fire Red, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown, and Arctic White.
