No safety at all. Just for low cost maintenance and resale value, you can get Wagon R or any other car from Maruthi.

  • Q. WHETHER TO BUY 1.0L OR 1.2L ENGINE WAGON R AS MOSTLY I WILL DRIVE IN CITY?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 6 months ago

If you want better power and performance then we would suggest you pick for its 1.2-litre, four-cylinder engine that also does duty under the hood of the Swift, Ignis and the Baleno. This engine makes 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque.

1.2 had 4 cylinders, which means the 2000-2005 wagons engine is back...and it's more powerful.... 1.0 is not good because, pulling and pick up is very lagging....

Amt is not for driving enthusiasts so dont expect performance out of it.For good pickup try manual where you can slot in the right gear for right pickup

I don't think the wheel diameter has anything to do with long drives. I have driven Maruti 800 from Mumbai to Kerala with out any issues.

  • Q. Is it advisable to travel in highway as its have lots of bumps and road grip is not so good when compare to swift - Wagon R 2019?

The bigger engine does make the new WagonR a peppy car to drive, whether you are tackling city traffic or taking the family on a weekend getaway. The suspension is tuned in favour of comfort rather than handling. So the new WagonR will go over minor road undulations without unsettling its passengers, and even major ones are dealt with relative grace. There is a new level of maturity in the WagonR’s ride and you won’t hear its suspension crash when dealing with large potholes. On the other hand, Swift’s great handling ability has come at a cost, and that is ride quality. The suspension setup feels much firmer than before, and this might not sit well with those looking for a comfortable family hatchback. In that sense, the ride quality almost feels “European” in its nature. You can feel almost every surface imperfection and undulation on the road through the seat of your pants, and as a rumbling in the cabin. Moreover, the selection of the car completely depends on one's choice and preference, do take the test drive for both the cars in order to pick the best which matches your needs and requirements.Related Read:2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift: First Drive Review https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/2018-maruti-suzuki-swift-first-drive-review/29604/ New Maruti Suzuki WagonR 2019: First Drive Review https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/new-maruti-suzuki-wagonr-2019-first-drive-review/32905/
