MG Gloster Overview

MG has introduced a plethora of additional accessories for the Gloster to enhance its comfort and convenience quotient. These accessories include window shades, car cover, refrigerator, ventilated seats (exclusive to Blackstorm) and a cup holder with cooling and warming functionality. All these accessories can be purchased through the dealerships directly.

The Gloster is MG Motor's flagship SUV in India, launched in 2020 and updated in 2022. It is a luxury, premium SUV offering from MG which is available in 6 seater and 7 Seater configuration. It offers an impressive road presence, a high-quality cabin and comfortable seats. The automaker is set to introduce the facelift of the Gloster in the Indian market soon.

MG Gloster Key Highlights

Price: The MG Gloster is priced between Rs 38.07 lakh and Rs 42.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Features: The MG Gloster is loaded with features like connected car tech, a 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, voice recognition, a 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, 12-way powered front seat with massage and ventilation and three-zone climate control. Its safety kit includes six airbags, a 360-degree camera and a suite of ADAS features that include forward-collision prevention, lane keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, driver attention warning and door open warning.

Engine: The MG Gloster can be had with either a 161PS 2-litre turbo-diesel engine or a 216PS 2-litre twin-turbo diesel engine. Both are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. A 4x4 option is available with the twin-turbo diesel in the top-spec Savvy trim level. The MG Gloster has a length of 4985mm, width of 1926mm and height of 1867mm. Its wheelbase stretches across 2950mm.

Rivals: The MG Gloster rivals the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian.

Variants: MG Gloster is offered with a 7-seater layout in Sharp and Savvy trim levels. Its 6 -seater variant is limited to the top-end Savvy trim level. The Gloster can be had in four exterior hues: Deep Golden, Metal Back, Metal Ash, and Warm White.

MG Gloster is a great SUV with an aggressive appearance and a durable built quality. the finishing is on next level. it's interior also looks premium with perfect finishing of panels and dashboard. the space inside this car is very amazing and both back and rear seats are very comfortable. ground clearance of this car is very high. This car has been given a luxurious touch.

The MG Gloster was my first automobile, and it was great. This large, comfortable SUV is excellent for my commute and family outings. The chairs are comfy and spacious. The automobile has adaptive cruise control, various cameras, and a big entertainment system. The strong engine makes the automobile smooth on all routes. SUVs of this size provide decent fuel economy. My everyday commute is pleasant thanks to the MG Gloster.

High quality

the cabin is excellent and Gloster is going to rock in the Indian market. Although it has a bold look and strong highway performance, the smaller SUV ride quality is poor at low speeds.

A Luxurious Beast with Some Hiccups

Recently, my family and I goes on a road trip to the hills of Himachal Pradesh in our new MG Gloster. Its 2.0L twin turbo diesel engine with 215 bhp and 480 Nm of torque ensured we had enough power throughout our journey. The spacious interiors and advanced driver assistance features like Adaptive Cruise Control made the long drives comfortable.When compared with the Toyota Fortuner, the Gloster scores good on luxury but falls short in terms of reliability and easy of driving in urban areas. It is a great SUV but there are a few areas where it could be better.
