Q. I have read so many complaints about tbd500,like efi problems,sudden break downs etc.Is there any problem with tbd500.Is it so unreliable bike?dealers are also saying old tbd is not coming if u are booking one you will only get an old piece is it true - Thunderbird 500?

Great pleassure
Feel great to ride thunderbird 500, Best cruise bike, You can ride whole day comfortably.The mileage is decent you can expect 30 plus on highways and the service cost is less than 3k.

Engine performance
Driving this 500cc bike was fun.Engine performance was great with mileage of 30kmpl.Seat was not comfortable for long rides.Maintenance of enfield bikes are high.Specially the fuel pump will stop working after 5-7 years.Replacement from re service centre also does not guarantee a long running fuel pump.Rust on body parts is a major issue in re.Overall good to ride but high on maintenance.

Over all its strong and reliable bike, Only most important thing you have to care services on time and engine oil.I love my bike.I am using from since 2013 and it's still very best pickup, Engine and best thing is this you can drive hundreds of kilometres without any hustle.
