Facelifted Hyundai Venue N Line: Your First Glimpse At The Sportier SUV

The Venue N Line adds some sportier bits to the design and is expected to get a couple of mechanical upgrades as well

  • Venue N Line to get a different bumper design, dual exhaust tips, and plenty of red accents.

  • It will be powered by the 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with iMT and AT.

  • Mechanical upgrades should include a quicker steering rack, throatier exhaust note, and stiffer dampers.

The facelifted Hyundai Venue’s sportier N Line trim has been spotted testing in the outskirts of Chennai. Like the i20 N Line, the Venue N Line will get sportier design elements as well as minor mechanical enhancements for a sportier drive. It’s expected to debut alongside the standard car when it goes on sale later this year.

The presence of dual exhaust tips is the easiest way we could tell this is the new Venue N Line. Apart from that, the N Line should feature red accents on the body, slightly redesigned bumpers for a bolder appearance, bespoke alloy wheels, and red brake calipers. Hyundai has done a decent job by differentiating the standard i20 and i20 N Line, and we expect the same with Venue.

Inside, the Venue N Line should boast plenty of red stitching and N-Line branding on the front seats, gear lever and steering wheel. Apart from that, expect everything else to be similar to the standard affair.

In terms of features, the facelifted Venue is expected to get new additions like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digitised instrument display (a la i20), and ventilated front seats. Creature comforts like automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, cruise control, and a sunroof will be retained.

The Venue N Line is likely to feature just the 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed clutchless manual or a 7-speed DCT. Like the i20, Hyundai could make possible mechanical upgrades like stiffer dampers, a quicker steering rack, and a throatier exhaust note for a sportier driving experience.

The facelifted Venue N Line will be the top model of the range and is expected to be priced at around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be the only sporty SUV when compared to rivals like the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon,  and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
