More than 1.5 times as powerful as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650!
Former Indian Cricket Team captain MS Dhoni’s love for motorcycles is well known. From vintage roadsters to modern supersports, his collection of bikes makes for one of the most desirable garages in the country. His fondness for old-school icons is an open secret.
Dhoni recently added a custom restored RD350 LC to his collection. While we spotted the new motorcycle on various platforms, this was the first time that he was seen riding the bike on camera. Restored by Chandigarh based Blue Smoke Customs, this bike retains its original aesthetics. It’s finished in the gorgeous speedblock livery contrasting with the blacked-out engine. The ‘OG’ rounded headlamp, turn indicators and rectangular tail lamp have been retained but it gets a sportier seat with an inclined rear section.

More importantly, this RD350 LC also features a whole range of aftermarket performance parts, including a liquid cooled engine, Lectron carburetor, Moto Tassinari VForce4 reed valve system, Uni air filter, JL Street twin exhausts and a lot more! As a result of all these mods, the bike makes over 72PS! For perspective, the original RD350LC’s 347cc mill used to make around 49PS.
While RDs are pretty rare, this custom RD350LC takes the cake. Apart from a collection of Yamaha RD350s and RX100s, MS Dhoni also owns a range of modern-day motorcycles, including a Harley Davidson Fat Boy, a Kawasaki Ninja H2 and the ultra rare Confederate X132 Hellcat.
