The new Hyundai Tucson will be launched in India on August 10. The flagship SUV has already been fully revealed and is available to book for Rs 50,000. It rivals the Jeep Compass, Citroen C5 Aircross and Volkswagen Tiguan.
The 2022 Tucson is an all-new SUV that features Hyundai’s new Parametrics Dynamic design language. It has sharp creases and bold body lines with a striking front fascia and fang-like LED taillights at the rear.
Inside, it has a cleanly laid-out dashboard with dual 10.25-inch displays for infotainment and driver’s instrumentation. In addition, it’s equipped with a panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control and powered, heated and ventilated front seats.
The new Hyundai Tucson gets ADAS for the first time in India that includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, auto emergency braking, blind spot detection and rear cross-traffic alert.

Under the bonnet, the Tucson is offered with a 156PS 2-litre petrol engine paired with a 6-speed automatic and a 186PS 2-litre turbo diesel unit with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine is available with all-wheel drive (AWD).
The new Tucson is likely to be priced from Rs 25 lakh onwards (ex-showroom).
