Skoda is celebrating the 7 year anniversary of its flagship SUV, the Kodiaq in India. And so, these benefits include a 7 percent customer advantage along with extended warranty and service packages.

The Skoda Kodiaq is the Czech carmaker’s premium three-row SUV. Now in its third-generation, the Kodiaq got a facelift in India in 2022. The Kodiaq is known for its sleek and clean design, well-built interior with all the features you need and a punchy 2-litre turbo-petrol engine. It’s also one of the most fun to drive seven-seater SUVs you can buy in India and offers equipment levels and sophistication matching or bettering those of entry-level German luxury SUVs.

Skoda Kodiaq Key Highlights

Features: The Skoda Kodiaq’s feature list includes an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker Canton sound system, heated and cooled front seats, a panoramic sunroof, tri-zone climate control, cruise control, a wireless phone charger and powered front seats. Its safety kit consists of up to nine airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, hill hold/descent control, a 360-degree camera, and park assist.

Engine: The Kodiaq is powered by a sole 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine with an output of 190PS and 320Nm. A seven-speed DSG sends power to all four wheels. The SUV has a claimed mileage of 12.78kmpl. The seven-seater SUV measures 4699mm in length, 1882mm in width, 1685mm in height, and has a 2791mm wheelbase.

Rivals: The Skoda Kodiaq locks horns with the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tiguan, Citroen C5 Aircross, and Jeep Meridian.

Variants: There are three broad trims available: Style, Sportline (New), and Laurin and Klement. It can be had in six colour options: (Lava Blue, Moon White, Magic Black, Graphite Grey) for Laurin and Klement, (Race Blue, Steel Grey and Moon White) for Sportline and a single Moon White body shade for the Style trim.

Expensive but worth it

Skoda Kodiaq gives a premium feel with a great ground clearance. this SUV has a better design than many other in this segment. this car has also a good build quality than others with 5 star rating. the mileage is quite decent around 13 kmpl. it's cabins are very spacious and the back seats are also very comfortable. however the third row is not suitable for adults as it is narrow. the smooth handling and gearbox gives amazing feeling.

when style meets class

The Skoda Kodiaq really appeals to me. This SUV is really large and roomy. Strong lines and a smooth design make the outside rather appealing. The headlamps are crisp and the front grille is really fashionable. Driving on highways and in cities is both possible with this automobile. The Kodiaq is opulent within. The seats are really comfy and crafted of excellent material. Large families would find it ideal because there is enough of room for seven people. A large touchscreen for navigation and entertainment graces the contemporary dashboard. The automobile features a tonne of really helpful storage areas. Excellent riding quality characterizes the Kodiaq. It drives and handles really nicely. Among the several safety features of the vehicle are traction control, ABS, and several airbags. If you want a large, cozy, and secure SUV, the Skoda Kodiaq is a terrific option overall.

This SUV has excellent handling and is very practical and also has a very large boot, but the third row is only for children.

Skoda Kodiaq - Luxury Meets Power

When planning a Ladakh road trip, we choose for the Skoda Kodiaq of my friend and it was an exhilarating experience. With its 2.0L TDI engine delivering 190 bhp and a 0-100 km/h in time of less than 8 seconds, the Kodiaq truly showcased its power. The premium interior and state of the art features like the panoramic sunroof added a luxurious touch to our adventure.The fuel efficiency hovered around 16 km/l, higher than we expected for such a long trip. Also, the expensive maintenance and service costs in Ladakh.
