Hyundai recently revealed the 2022 Tucson, which is expected to go on sale around early August, in India. Ahead of its launch, the carmaker has revealed all the bells and whistles that the new Tucson will get within its Platinum and Signature trims. Here’s a rundown of what each trim will get:

Despite being the entry-level trim of the 2022 Tucson lineup, the Platinum is adequately loaded with a bunch of features. It is offered with both the 2-litre 156PS petrol and 186PS diesel engines. The petrol mill is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel motor gets an 8-speed automatic unit. Here’re the key features onboard the Platinum trim:
Parametric front grille, with vertical LED DRLs
LED headlights and connected tail lamps.
18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
64 colour ambient lighting.
10.25-inch digital drivers display and touchscreen infotainment screens.
Panoramic sunroof.
Wireless phone charger.
Automatic headlamps.
Front & rear USB charging ports.
Hyundai Bluelink connected car tech.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
8-speaker Bose audio system.
OTA updates.
Electric parking brake.
Dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents.
Auto dimming IRVM.
10-way powered driver seat with lumbar support.
ABS with EBD.
Six airbags.
Drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, Smart.
Hill start assist control.
Downhill brake control.
ISOFIX chid seat anchor.
Front and rear parking sensors with reverse camera and parking guidelines.
Blind spot + surround view monitor.
Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Being the top-of-the-line trim in the Tucson lineup, it's only natural that the Signature gets everything from the Platinum trim while adding on a slew of premium bits. Here’s what you get over the Platinum:
8-way powered co-driver seat.
Handsfree powered tailgate.
Heated and ventilated front seats.
Memory function for powered driver’s seat.
ADAS safety assist suite (adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance assist, rear cross traffic alert and more).
4WD drivetrain (limited to 2-litre diesel engine).
Multi-terrain modes: Snow, Mud, Sand (4WD only).

Bookings for the 2022 Hyundai Tucson are currently open. Expect the SUV to retail at prices starting from Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). It’ll take on the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Citroen C5 Aircross.
