The Hyundai Alcazar is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an automatic climate control system, wireless phone charging, cruise control, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Additional amenities include a twin camera dash cam configuration, voice-activated panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. On the safety front, it gets all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX child seat anchors, hill-start assist control (HAC), electronic stability control (ESC), six standard airbags, and vehicle stability management (VSM) all contributing to passenger safety. A 360-degree camera and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are additional safety features.

The Hyundai Alcazar is available with two engine options: a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 116 PS of power & 250 Nm of torque and a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine producing 160 PS of power & 253 Nm of torque. For petrol turbo engines, there are 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual clutch gearbox options; for diesel engines, there are 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. These engines now have idle engine start/stop capabilities. It has three driving modes (Eco, City, and Sport) and three traction (Snow, Sand, and Mud) modes. Its generous dimensions with length of approximately 4,500 mm, width of around 1,790 mm, and a wheelbase of over 2,760 mm make it an ideal family SUV.

The Hyundai Alcazar rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari & MG Hector.

Hyundai offers the Alcazar in eight main configurations: Prestige Executive, Prestige (O), Platinum, Platinum (O), Signature, Signature (O), Signature Dual Tone, and Signature (O) Dual Tone. The Platinum and Signature(O) trims are also available in the Alcazar "Adventure" version. The color options are seven monotone and two dual-tone hues, which include Ranger Khaki (Adventure Edition), Taiga Brown, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Starry Night, Atlas White, Abyss Black, Titan Grey with Abyss Black roof, and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.
