2017 Suzuki S-Cross Facelift - Front

Suzuki showcased the updated S-Cross and made its global debut in Hungary. This carmaker has begun the production of its updated crossover, which is likely to be revealed at the upcoming 2016 Paris Motor Show. The spy images show the updated crossover at the manufacturer’s Hungarian plant.

The Suzuki S-Cross has received a few upgrades - a new front fascia comprising of an upright grille with vertical slats, resembling BMW's signature kidney grille, a new set of projector headlamps with chrome details in the cluster which also includes the daylight running lights (DRL), revised bumper, new fog-lamps and lines across the bonnet providing the car with a muscular stance. Inside, the dashboard design remains intact, though Suzuki has added an updated infotainment system and the seats have received new upholstery.

In markets overseas, the S-Cross is offered with 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines. However, in India, it is available only with 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel motors. As per reports, the updated S-Cross is likely to receive the 1.4-litre BoosterJet petrol engine that produces 140PS of power, though it remains to be seen if this engine will make its way to India. Rumours suggest that Maruti may introduce a new 1.5-litre petrol for the S-Cross, but there hasn't been an official confirmation for the same. However the S-Cross will make its debut in the Indian market by 2017.
