With this update, all Maruti cars except for the Alto, S-Presso, and Wagon R come with dual airbags as standard. We reckon these three models will also be updated soon, considering more stringent safety norms will be introduced in the future.
The Eeco is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine developing 73PS/98Nm (petrol) and 62PS/85Nm (in CNG variants). Drive is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual.
The Eeco doesn’t have any direct competitor in the country. At these prices, you can consider the Datsun Go Plus, which can also seat seven occupants.
