Maruti Suzuki in collaboration with McDonald's gives you a chance to win a brand new Maruti Suzuki Eeco

McDonald’s clearly thinks a Doraemon is too small a gift to give away with one of their meals, so they have collaborated with India’s foremost passenger car maker Maruti Suzuki to launch the `Eeco-Meal’ promotion campaign. The winner of the contest will drive away in a brand new Maruti Suzuki Eeco. Fathers take notice, for once it's not going to be all about your kids and their happy meal toys at McDonald's.

The campaign is based around a theme that Maruti Suzuki call ‘the family that eats together, rides together’. Mr. Rameet Arora, Sr. Director Marketing, McDonald’s India ((HRPL), said, “We at McDonald’s constantly endeavour to provide families an enjoyable experience every time they visit a McDonald’s. With this offer we want them to extend the ‘I’m lovin it’ experience, as they ride away in a Maruti Suzuki EECO”.

The idea behind the `Eeco-Meal’ is that a family can walk into any McDonald’s outlet and upon the purchase of a value meal, happy meal or a breakfast meal customers will get an EECO Happy Family contest form. The form contains questions about the Maruti Suzuki Eeco which customers will have to answer and submit along with a witty slogan on the Eeco. The winner will be chosen based on the wittiest slogan submitted about the Maruti Suzuki Eeco.

Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Chief General Manager, Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, explains the promotion campaign by saying, “Positioned as a perfect family Multi-Purpose Vehicle, with the Eeco we wanted to reach out to many more families. This tie-up with Mc Donald’s will help us reach out to newer segments, families to create more happy moments for families. We are confident that this promotion will help taking the thought - Happiness family size to the next level”.

The contest is open till the 30th of July 2011 in all McDonald’s outlets across western and southern regions in India. The contest is open to Indian nationals above the age of 18 with a valid driver’s licence.

Time to channel your wittiness then, and you might want to work up that appetite while you are at it.
