Toyota has put a stop to the online bookings of the Innova Crysta diesel. There’s no confirmation if this is a temporary halt or permanent discontinuation. However, you can still book the Innova’s petrol variants.

The Toyota Innova Crysta gets the choice of 150PS 2.4-litre diesel and 166PS 2.7-litre petrol engines, paired with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. It has a rear-wheel drivetrain as standard. The MPV is offered with seven and eight-seater configurations, depending on the variant you choose. It retails from Rs 17.45 lakh to Rs 26.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), rivalling a range of cars such as the Kia Carens, Carnival, Mahindra Scorpio N, XUV700 and Hyundai Alcazar

Meanwhile, Toyota is likely working on a new generation Innova that was spied earlier this year. The current generation of the MPV has been on sale in India since 2016 and received a subtle mid-life update earlier this year. The new Innova is expected to feature a strong petrol-hybrid powertrain which could eventually replace the diesel engine option.
