Online bookings for the Innova Crysta diesel have been suspended.
Was equipped with a 150PS 2.4-litre diesel engine with manual and automatic transmissions.
The petrol variants priced from Rs 17.45 lakh to Rs 26.54 lakh continue to be on sale.
Toyota is reportedly working on the new generation Innova, which could be unveiled in India at the Auto Expo 2023.
Toyota has put a stop to the online bookings of the Innova Crysta diesel. There’s no confirmation if this is a temporary halt or permanent discontinuation. However, you can still book the Innova’s petrol variants.

The Toyota Innova Crysta gets the choice of 150PS 2.4-litre diesel and 166PS 2.7-litre petrol engines, paired with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. It has a rear-wheel drivetrain as standard. The MPV is offered with seven and eight-seater configurations, depending on the variant you choose. It retails from Rs 17.45 lakh to Rs 26.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), rivalling a range of cars such as the Kia Carens, Carnival, Mahindra Scorpio N, XUV700 and Hyundai Alcazar.

Meanwhile, Toyota is likely working on a new generation Innova that was spied earlier this year. The current generation of the MPV has been on sale in India since 2016 and received a subtle mid-life update earlier this year. The new Innova is expected to feature a strong petrol-hybrid powertrain which could eventually replace the diesel engine option.

We’re expecting Toyota to unveil the new gen Innova in Thailand this year. In India, it could be revealed at the Auto Expo 2023 scheduled for early January. The carmaker may continue to sell the existing Innova alongside the new generation, as seen with the Mahindra Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N and the fourth and fifth-gen Honda City.
