Check out this Retro-style Mini Bike From CFMoto

Makes you wish the Honda Navi was still on sale, doesn’t it?

We’re looking at Chinese bikemaker CFMoto’s retro-style small capacity bike, and it’s giving us a serious 80’s vibe!

Leaked type-approval documents say this CFMoto retro-style bike will be called the Papio XO-1, so it’s based on the brand’s existing small-capacity bike, the Papio. Therefore, it uses the same powertrain: a 126cc air-cooled single-pot motor. Besides, underpinnings include a single-cradle frame with a USD fork and monoshock, and disc brakes front and rear.

The party piece on the Papio XO-1, of course, are the visuals; a significant change from the standard bike. In fact, it looks like a carbon copy (albeit scaled down) of the first-gen Suzuki GSX 750, right down to the twin round headlights, slab-like sides, and stepped seats. The chunky tyres, too, add to the vintage appeal.

Ultimately, though, the chances of this retro-style CFMoto bike coming to India are remote, not just considering what it’ll cost here, but also the fact that retro-style small capacity bikes make very little sense in the Indian context. Nevertheless, those looking for a classically styled offering can consider the Royal Enfield Hunter, TVS Ronin, or Yamaha FZ-X.
