Bajaj Auto recently launched the Pulsar NS400Z at an insanely competitive price. At the sidelines of the launch, Rakesh Sharma, executive director, Bajaj Auto, revealed the brand’s future plans to update the Dominar range. We believe Bajaj might update both the Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 with updated instrument consoles, new features, new colours, and updated graphics.
The next-gen Dominar 400 could feature a new TFT instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone connectivity. It may also get a ride-by-wire throttle, multiple riding and ABS modes, and traction control as well as basic cruise control, making the sporty tourer even more touring-friendly and safer to ride.

While the smaller Dominar 250 is likely to get an updated LCD instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation. Moreover, both the Dominars are expected to feature new colours with updated graphics too.
The engine and hardware on both bikes are likely to remain unchanged. The Dominar 400 is powered by a 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 40PS and 35Nm. Whereas the Dominar 250 is equipped with a 248.77cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces a peak output of 27PS and 23.5Nm. Both bikes are paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Both the bikes are expected to launch sometime in mid-2025 considering Bajaj already has its hands full with the new CNG bike launch, affordable Chetak launch, and new Pulsar bikes for this financial year. The Bajaj Dominar 400 is likely to get a premium of around Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 over its current price of Rs 2,30,815, whereas the Dominar 250 could get a price increase of around Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 over its current price of Rs 1,84,672 (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).
