Aprilia Two-Wheeler Sales In May 2022

Aprilia scooters witnessed over 500 per cent increase in sales compared to last year, however the month-over-month sales have dropped marginally
Aprilia’s sales report for April 2022 is out, and the numbers across the board are in the red. While the Month-over-Month (MoM) growth has witnessed a dip for all Aprilia scooters, the Year-over-Year (YoY) growth is massive. Here’s a look at the numbers:

The Aprilia 125cc range includes the Storm 125, SR 125 and SXR 125. The sales of these scooters have seen a slight drop to the tune of 6.27 per cent from April to May. The 160cc range of scooters include all variants of the SR 160 and the maxi-style SXR 160. This segment has seen sales drop by 26 per cent in May when compared with April.

The YoY sales numbers show a massive increase (in units retailed) across Aprilia’s product line-up. One of the primary reasons for this growth is the introduction of the facelifted SR 160 late last year.
