Volkswagen has taken wraps off the facelifted Tiguan Allspace. It comes with an extended wheelbase and is offered in 5- and 7-seater configurations.
The facelifted SUV borrows design elements from the facelifted Tiguan such as angular LED headlamps with Matrix technology, revised LED tail lamps, and redesigned front and rear bumpers. On the inside, you get a new three-spoke steering wheel, VW’s latest MIB3 infotainment system with connected car tech, and new touch-based climate controls. It gets features like VW’s IQ.DRIVE travel assist, a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats and tailgate, tri-zone climate control and massage function for driver’s seat.
Volkswagen offers the SUVs with petrol and diesel engines in the overseas market. But if launched in India, the SUV will equip the existing model’s 190PS 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DSG that drives all four wheels.
