Seal Key Highlights

Features: The BYD Seal is loaded with features and technology. A 15.6-inch touchscreen screen that can be rotated, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic glass roof, a DynaAudio sound system, an electronically heated ORVM, heated and ventilated front seats, and a heads-up display are among its convenience features. On the safety front, it is equipped with 9 airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, front and rear parking sensors with 360 degree camera, traction control system and most importantly, ADAS features.

Motor: There are three different powertrain options for the BYD Seal. With a 61.4 kWh battery pack and a 204 PS/310 Nm single rear-drive electric motor, the entry-level Dynamic Range is stated to have a 510 km range. The second is the Premium Range, which has an 82.5 kWh battery pack and a 313 PS/360 Nm single rear-drive electric motor that together provide a 650 km stated range. Last but not least, the Performance trim has an 82.5 kWh battery pack as well, but it also has two electric motors (all-wheel drive) that generate 560 PS and 670 Nm. It claims to have a 580 km range. BYD Seal Charging With a DC fast charging capacity of up to 150kW, the BYD Seal can be charged in just 26 minutes (from SOC 30% to 80%). Charging at home is easier and more convenient with AC 11kW. BYD Seal Dimensions The BYD Seal is 4800 mm long, 1875 mm wide and 1460 mm tall. Its wheelbase measures 2920 mm in length.

Rivals: BYD Seal will be an alternative to the likes of the BMW i4, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.

Range: Seal can go upto 580 km/charge after a full charge.

Variants: BYD Seal is available in three variants namely Dynamic Range, Premium Range and Performance. It can be opted for in four colour options namely Arctic Blue, Atlantis Gray, Cosmos Black and Aurora White.

Sci fi exteriors, with long travel range

I just love the BYD Seal mostly because of many reasons. First of all this car has amazing and elegant exterior with efficient machinary. This car has a travel range of 650 km per full charge which took me 12 hours to do so. Also this car has 9 air bags so the company has taken care of safety.

My BYD Seal electric automobile is great. It looks sleek and contemporary. The features justify the hefty price of Rs 40 lakh. The automobile has a great 500-km range on a full charge. Top safety features include numerous airbags, ABS, and modern driver aid systems. Premium materials and a high-tech entertainment system make the cabin sumptuous. Speed and road handling are excellent in the automobile. More service centers might help. I love my BYD Seal and would suggest it to anybody seeking for a high-performance electric car.
