Facelifted Audi Q7 Arrives On February 03

Audi India will announce prices of the Q7 SUV in India on February 3 this year, and its pre-launch bookings (both online and offline) are underway for Rs 5 lakh. The upcoming luxury SUV will come in two broad trims: Premium Plus and Technology.
Though Audi has made changes to the Q7’s design, it still isn’t what you would call flashy. The grille is a bit larger with vertical slats, the adaptive Matrix LED headlamps get new signatures, and the bumper features larger air dams for a more aggressive look. The SUV rolls on new 19-inch alloy wheels (not available in dual-tone shade on any trim), and the new LED tail lamps and the rear bumper round off the design.
You’ll love spending time in the Q7’s cabin. The middle row is super comfortable, and the adaptive air suspension makes for an even cushier ride. The new Q8-inspired dashboard (with three screens) looks minimal yet classy. Sadly, the new touchscreen-only layout means there’s no swivel wheel here. Ugh.
The Q7 features powered front seats, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, a 19-speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system, powered tailgate with kick sensor, electronically foldable third row, and air quality control with fragrance.
Passenger safety is taken care of by eight airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a 360-degree parking camera, park assist, and lane departure warning.
You can have the Q7 with only one engine: 340PS 3-litre turbo-petrol V6, paired with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drivetrain. Performance is effortless, and one can do long miles without fatigue. Sadly, the fantastic TDI mill will not make a comeback going forward as Audi will continue with petrol or electric powertrains only.
Prices of the Q7 are likely to start from Rs 80 lakh, and it’ll rival the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and the Volvo XC90.
