Skoda Kodiaq To Get First Price Hike On April 1 (We Wish It Were An April Fool Prank)

Skoda India has hiked the Kodiaq’s prices, and they will be applicable from April 1 onwards. Prices of all trims have gone up by Rs 1 lakh, with the SUV now starting from Rs 35.99 lakh.
Please note that bookings are closed at the moment as the Kodiaq has been sold out in India till April. So if you are booking yours now, you’ll have to pay the revised prices.

The top-spec Laurin and Klement packs all the goodies, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ambient lighting, a 12-speaker Canton sound system, powered front seats with ventilation and heating functions, a panoramic sunroof, and tri-zone climate control.
Passenger safety is taken care of by nine airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and tyre pressure monitoring.
The Kodiaq gets a 190PS 2-litre turbo-petrol engine, driving all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The top-of-the-range L&K trim features Dynamic Chassis Control, which allows you to adjust the stiffness of the dampers to your preference.
The Skoda Kodiaq locks horns with the Volkswagen Tiguan and Toyota Fortuner petrol. Also, at its price point, the Skoda is a more affordable alternative to the Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1, and the Volvo XC40.
