Hyundai has revealed key details about the new Venue facelift ahead of its launch on June 16. The subcompact SUV sports a new look, better features and a more advanced set of connected car tech. It’s available to book now for Rs 21,000, and buyers will have to wait for around 12-16 weeks, or 3-4 months, before receiving their facelifted Venue SUVs.
At the end of its lifecycle, even the pre-facelift subcompact SUV had a 1-3 month waiting period. The ongoing global semiconductor shortage is a key reason for the delays, and it seems to affect newer models more severely than cars that are already in production.
The new Venue will come with a chrome-studded Parametric design front grille, redesigned bumpers, alloy wheels and connected taillamps at the rear. It’ll retain the pre-facelift model’s petrol and diesel engines, and you can find out their specs in the stories linked below.
