Today, BYD India has launched its third all-electric offering for our market, the Seal sedan. Priced from Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom), the Seal is offered here in three broad variants with both single and dual electric motors as well as multiple battery pack options. If you are booking the Seal by March 31, 2024, you will receive additional benefits including free installation of a 7 kW charger, a 3 kW portable charging box, a vehicle-to-load power supply unit, 6-year roadside assistance, and one complimentary inspection service. You can book the Seal for Rs 1.25 lakh, with deliveries expected to begin soon after.
BYD Seal Design
The BYD Seal is stylish, featuring a sleek design highlighted by slim LED headlights and distinctive C-shaped daytime running lights. The aerodynamic five-split spoke alloy wheels exude a supercar-like aura, while the rear end boasts a particularly aggressive stance with connected LED tail lamps and a faux diffuser-style trim on the bumper.
BYD Seal Interior
Inside, the Seal boasts a minimalist dashboard design adorned with ample swoops and curves. This being a BYD, its trademark is the rotable 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system that can be set in either horizontal or vertical orientations. Meanwhile, the driver gets to grip on a chunky steering wheel behind which is a crisp 10.25-inch digital driver's display.
BYD Seal Features
In terms of features, the BYD Seal comes packing the aforementioned screens, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, a Dynaudio sound system, powered front seats with heating and ventilation, a panoramic glass roof and ambient lighting.
Passenger safety is taken care of by 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stabilty control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and most importantly, ADAS.

The BYD Seal comes in the three aforementioned variants and all of them come packing with multiple powertrain options.
