In city XZA+ mileage is 18.5 kmpl and XMA mileage is 16.8 kmpl. Is that true? Will the mileage be different across variants? Please clarify me.

No mileage is depend on your modes which you use while driving. variants doesn't matter, but you compare AMT and manual then it differs.

Yes mileage can differ a little bit in different variants but it only depends on the driving style and road and traffic conditions.
