Volkswagen has teased the 2021 Vento in the Russian market. The upcoming model will be launched in India by the end of 2021. It will utilise the MQB-A0-IN platform and could be offered with a petrol engine only. In terms of design, the 2021 Vento borrows styling cues from the Jetta.
We expect it to come with features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, climate control, cruise control, LED headlamps with DRLs as well as a cooled glove box. Expected safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and electronic stability program.
The 2021 Volkswagen Vento could be powered by the BS6-compliant 1.0-litre TSI motor. It develops 115PS of power and 200Nm of torque. We expect it to be available with a 6-speed manual and an automatic.
Prices for the 2021 Vento could start from Rs 9 lakh (Ex-showroom).
