a ride that is premium

Splendid bikes are designed most magnificently and what comes after it is its maintenance and performance that matters the most. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a fusion of the best of all. Being a remarkable model, its maintenance also does not cost much and is quite easy to handle. In addition to this, performance wise its good although its a low-cc bike but i am fine with it. The mileage provided is average and the ground clearance is good. If you want to own a decent bike that does not cause any problems, this one is a total yes.

RTR 160 will be better in

Rtr 160 will be better in its budget; of looks, Muscular &naked body, Sporty sounds on sports modes, Comfort seats, And superb handling position best as i have experienced.Mileage and maintenance depend on your mode of driving and maintenance also on types of roads or your location where you most of the time ride.I feel a few low mileage issues but it's okay.As per its budget one can feel all types of bike experiences on rtr 160.In 11 months i have ridden 11000 km most of the time at night it was amazing.I have ridden all types of rough roads and rural areas in 11000 km.And the rare suspension is little hard okay, I'm satisfied.

I Have bought the Vehicle

4.6

I have bought the vehicle (special edition-matte black) in the last week of november 2021, And i commute around 80kms a day for the for the whole second year. Here are the detailed observations on riding for around 30k kms over a period of 18months.1.The average mileage is around 42kms in city conditions with medium of high traffic whereas it stretches up to and above 50kmpl on zero to less traffic roads.2.Initial pickup of vehicle is too good when compared with other peers and it hasn't reduced until now because of periodic servicing and proper maintenance.3.Ride comfort is good with good back suspension and can easily go on long rides without severe back pains when compared to other vehicles however front fork suspension is a bit hard get adjusted.4.Brake systems are not the best available but manageable with single channel abs.Anyway, Dual channel abs is still awaited.5.Instrument cluster is neither overloaded with information nor with less data. All the information which is needed is right there and bluetooth connectivity lacks a navigation system, And we get caller id in the instrument cluster.6.Tvs connectivity app is good and provides ride details but the app lacks mileage details and range which should be calculated manually.Overall pros and conspros- the best beast in the segment with decent to very good mileage and an exhaust sound that gives you thrill and the best part of the vehicle is that you feel in full control even in very high speeds which is a bit scarce in the segment.Cons-braking system is not as good as expected as it makes you doubt its efficiency when you want to push the vehicle to its maximum potential.Maintenace is a bit on higher side as a general service labour charges are higher than engine oil cost.(amc subscription is advised)ps: i have a very bad experience with a service center where my parts (new and very good in condition) are replaced with other worn out or damaged parts, Upon confrontation with the service center they have blatantly denied on my face to show cctv of particular date.

General oil

3.4

Hello I have purchased tvs apache rtr 160 4v fi 3 moths back and i am writing this review after riding the bike around 2500 kms.1. Buying experience 1.Its good i rate 2/5. During the sales tvs company claims 60 kmpl is the mileage and average mileage is around 50 .But you hardly get 35-40 mileage which could be worst if you are expecting mileage and a daily commuter better don’t buy if not if have to spend a lot only on filling the petrol 2.Riding experience 1.Its good i rate 4/5 3.Details about looks, performance etc.1.Looks : it has a great look which has convinced me to buy this bike. 2.Performance is moderate on the performance of this bike . It has a great engine power but worst mileage. I hardly get 35-40 mileage which is most worst part of this bike. 4. Servicing and maintenance.During the sales they don’t mention on the servicing and maintenance part but this bike has to be filled with a special synthetic oil which costs around 700 per filling which is double the cost of general oil . 5.Pros and cons 1.Pros : good performance in terms of engine power 2.Cons : worst mileage hardly 35 kmpl and high maintenance than a general bikes in this segment.

The bike is the best in 160

4.2

Apache 160 4v is the best in 160 sports commuter section. It gives a smooth riding experience with lightining quick acceleration and a top speed of about 123 kmph and a whooping 50 kmpl average.Although the bike is best in its class but the maintenance is quite expensive when compared to other manufacturers like bajaj.Still it is the best 160 cc bike that one can own in my opinion.

My Apache RTR 160 4V gives mileage of 50 kmpl
